State Epidemiologist

Points of Contact
CSTE’s Points of Contact serves as the connective tissue between the organization and the epidemiologists working on the front lines in every state and territory. These designated representatives ensure that critical information, guidance, and resources flow efficiently between CSTE and the jurisdictions it serves. By maintaining direct lines of communication with practitioners across the country, Points of Contact help CSTE stay attuned to emerging challenges, coordinate responses across jurisdictional boundaries, and ensure that national initiatives are informed by the realities of practice on the ground.

Publications
Public health is a deeply interconnected field, and the work of epidemiologists is strengthened when it draws on a broad base of evidence and insight. By curating and sharing publications from across the public health landscape, CSTE helps its members stay current with the latest research, policy developments, and practice innovations — not only within epidemiology but across the disciplines that inform and intersect with it. Access to this wider body of work supports more rigorous surveillance, sharper analysis, and better-informed decision-making at every level.
